When
Are You Paid?
Employees are paid Wednesdays on a biweekly basis. (Provided your time sheet
is in on time.) The deadline is 8:00 a.m. Monday, following the end of the
pay period. We will not guarantee you will receive your paycheck on time
if you do not adhere to established deadlines. We encourage you to use the
after hours drop box located on the southeast corner of the Heinkel building.
When time cards are due, the office will remain open until 5:30 p.m. Friday
and reopen Monday at 7:30 a.m. to accommodate your schedule. If you prefer,
fax your completed time sheet to our office at 884-7305. Specific dates
are listed on each time sheet.
How Are You Paid?
According to University policy (HR224), employee payroll funds will be deposited
directly to a bank or other financial institution specified by the employee.
Complete a direct deposit authorization form provided by our office
and attach a voided check or deposit slip.
Time Sheets
Employees are required to turn in a Biweekly Payroll Time Record
(time sheet) at the end of each biweekly pay period. Record your time accurately,
sign the time sheet and obtain a verifying signature from the assignment
supervisor. Signatures are mandatory and time sheets must be
received in our office by 8:00a.m. on Monday following the end of the pay
period. Please refer to the back of the time sheet for specific dates. If
you fail to turn in your completed sheet by the due date, your hours will
be processed the following payroll period.
Overtime
For
every hour over 40 hours you work in one week, you will be paid at
one and a half times your regular hourly rate. It is your responsibility
to notify a supervisor and the SOS office if you will be in overtime
status. Overtime must be pre-approved by the assigned department
supervisor.
Holidays
Temporary
employees are not eligible for holidays pay. Call the SOS office for further clarification.
